😹 Is AI Really Coming for Your Job?

Yet, everybody’s job changed.

This matches what researchers are finding everywhere. AI isn’t replacing whole jobs as much as it’s eating away at specific tasks & opening up new ones along the way.

👉 Goldman Sachs says 300 million roles will transform by 2030. But here’s the twist: while 83 million jobs might correct, about 69 million new ones will show up.

But here’s what surprises me. 

I’m not seeing executives celebrating as they clear out cubicles. Instead, they’re staring at a different problem: 120 million workers need new skills in the next three years. That’s like filling a stadium the size of Mexico’s largest venue twelve times over.

Training budgets that used to be afterthoughts?

Microsoft just committed $3.5 billion to teach people AI skills. 

The reason is simple: math. 

Teaching your current team new tricks costs way less than finding and hiring all new people – because people still need to train AI.

  • 40% of jobs will change somehow because of AI
  • 60% of big companies are teaching their people new skills right now
  • Healthcare workers using AI spend 30% more time actually talking with patients
