Jim's AI Tools Search is a Chrome extension that searches the public AI tools directory on jimcarter.me and opens the matching page.
What it does
You type a tool name. The extension opens a jimcarter.me URL in a new tab, such as https://jimcarter.me/ai-tools/cursor/ or the directory home at https://jimcarter.me/ai-tools .
What it does not do
- It does not create an account.
- It does not read your email, browsing history, or the page you are on.
- It does not sell data.
- It does not run ads.
- It does not talk to hosts other than jimcarter.me.
Data
v1 keeps a local list of public tool names and slugs on your computer so search works. If a later version refreshes that list, it will only request the public sitemap or directory on jimcarter.me. No cookies, no pixels, no analytics in v1.
