šŸ›‘ The End of the Prompt Era

šŸ›‘ The End of the Prompt Era
fig. 01 - this week's transmission

I gave up on my best employee hundreds of times last year.

Every time I closed a chat window, I lost the thing I had just spent 40 minutes teaching.

Then the next chat, next morning, and next task… I opened a new chat and started over with a very smart employee who knew absolutely nothing about me.Ā

You’ve probably been doing the same thing and not even realizing it, because for the last few years, that was just how AI worked.Ā

You prompted it… gave it context, got the task done, and started over the next day.

That’s changing (and it’s exactly why I built the Creator Skills StackšŸ”—).

The underlying model is getting smarter and more autonomous, which means you need to spend less time inventing prompts and more time packaging how your AI thinks and works.

šŸ” What I Found

AI is moving has moved from something you summon to something that can keep working after you leave.

OpenAI is pushing further into always-on agents, with Dots. SpacexAI gave us GrokBot, Gemini/Google released Spark, and just a few weeks ago Meta gave us Muse (and I'm exploring and using them all). Ā

Side note, if you join Muse (I recommend you do), use code: P338F5 and you'll get 1 BILLION free tokens.Ā

Agentic AI, an AI that has true memory, is intelligence that remembers, keeps working, and doesn’t start from zero every morning.

Which raises a very important question:

If your AI could work while you slept and also while you worked on what you love doing, would it know enough about your business to make a decision you’d stand behind?

That’s where this gets interesting…

🧠 What It Means for You

For the last few years, everyone has been obsessed with writing better prompts, but the bottleneck is moving.Ā

I've talked about this a lot.

But I can't stress enough how NOW is the time to lock in on setting up AI within your business properly.

A clever prompt only gets you so far if your AI still doesn’t know things like:

  • How you price and prioritize
  • What work you refuse to take on
  • How you make judgment calls
  • What ā€œgoodā€ looks like in your business

Let's be honest: Most of that knowledge isn’t sitting neatly inside an SOP, it’s in your head.Ā

An always-on AI that knows nothing about your business is still just a new hire on day one.Ā

An AI that understands how you think, decide, and work is much more useful. And it's easier than ever to set up with a little intention.

šŸ‘‰ Worth Sitting With

  • If a sharp new hire started Monday with access to every system in your business but nobody available to answer questions, what expensive mistake would they make first?

  • What decision do you make every week that nobody has ever written the logic for?

  • Where would you be comfortable letting AI act on its own, and where would you still want final approval?

āœŒļø YOUR TURN

Spend one hour this week documenting how you actually make decisions.Ā

You don’t need a giant SOP manual.Ā

Start with one recurring part of your business and let AI interview you.

Use this prompt:

You are helping me document how decisions actually get made in my business so an AI agent could eventually follow the same logic. Interview me one question at a time. Ask about pricing, priorities, exceptions, what I refuse to do, how I handle unhappy customers, and what I would never delegate. If my answer is vague, ask me for a specific example. When we’re finished, turn my answers into a clear decision document someone could follow without asking me what I meant.

This prompt is a clean kickoff I wrote for you to coach you through your decision making to focus on future delegation.Ā

The weird exceptions, unwritten rules, and ā€œit dependsā€ decisions are usually where the valuable context lives.

Don’t clean up your answers too much, just answer honestly and take the output and upload it to your AI of choice. You'll see the difference the next time your AI needs to make decisions.

That’s also the work behind the Creator Skills Stack. (šŸ”—)

It helps you turn the way you think, write, decide, and work into reusable instructions your AI can actually use.

If you've explained the same thing to AI more than twice, you've already paid for the Skills Stack in lost time.Ā

You just haven't gotten the time back yet.

I've set it all up so you don't have to.

The next advantage is giving AI enough context to act with your judgment, not just your information.

P.S. If you need more support, there's a place for you and others who want to really dig in at CTRL+ALT+BUILD. I built CTRL+ALT+BUILD šŸ”—so you don't have to do this alone. It's a community of others like you and me who want to put all of this to work. I'd love it if you joined us.Ā
