This week is all about prompts and creative uses to maximize your efforts!
I always explore new frameworks for prompt efficiency, but one this week caught my attention – the “RASCEF” Prompt Framework π.
Combined with the ChatGPT Code Interpreter, this method creates a simple AI ‘agent’ that can handle many grunt work tasks. And the results? They’re wonderful.
Here’s a breakdown of the “RASCEF” Prompt Framework:
- R: Role – This is who the AI is pretending to be. It could be an email marketer, project manager, chef, or any other role.
- A: Action – This is what the AI needs to do. It could be to explain something, for example, write a project execution plan.
- S: Steps – These are the steps the AI should follow to complete the action. It’s like a recipe or a set of instructions.
- C: Context – This is the background information or situation. It helps the AI understand the setting or circumstances. You can upload a .txt file in the code interpreter with the complete context of the tasks and examples.
- E: Examples – These are specific instances that illustrate the point. They help the AI understand the tone & thinking/writing style.
- F: Format – This is how the AI should present its answer. It could be a paragraph, a list, a dialogue, or any other format.
New frameworks like this pop up quite often, but only some perform as well as this. The “RASCEF” framework helps AI organize a task or question to make it clear and easy to understand. It’s like giving the AI a roadmap to follow, which can significantly improve the quality of the output.
Here are a few real examples to get you started:
Role: AI as a financial advisor.
Action: Create a budget plan.
Steps: Identify revenue and expenses, set savings goals, and allocate funds.

π§ This framework’s potential is vast. It can be used to automate a wide range of tasks, and because you’re using it with code interpreter, you can feed it as much data as you have and even have it render graphics and visuals to support the output.
02: Bing Chat’s Image Recognition Updates
Microsoft’s Bing Chat has recently received a significant update, proving to be a real player in the AI chat game with each new release.
Most notably, they’ve raised the number of chats daily by 10x, allowing for much longer and more complex conversations and opening up a world of possibilities for users. With that limit raised and more interactive image-based tools here’s what you need to know to consider when to use Bing Chat over ChatGPT or Claude:
- Reading Images: Bing Chat can now understand images. Ask it any question about what you see in a picture, and it will provide an answer or even describe what it sees in that image.
- Coding from an Image: Give Bing an image of an interface and ask it to reproduce it. Bing will understand what’s in the image and code a similar result. For example, you can prompt it with “Can you reproduce this exact login screen using HTML/CSS?” and it will generate the necessary code.
- Ask Questions About Photos on Mobile: This feature is available with the Bing app on iOS and Android. You can take a photo and ask Bing a question about it. This could be particularly useful for identifying unknown objects and landmarks or even having it compare things and explain the differences.

03: Prompts Battle It Out
Prompting is a serious business. It’s not just about having the most advanced models but also about how you use them. And sometimes, the most innovative uses come from the most unexpected places. Or, in this case, in a head-to-head battle.
Take Prompts Royale, for example. This open-source tool generates ten prompts for you and then runs battles to determine the best prompt. It’s a fun experiment that can yield surprisingly valuable results.
Here’s how it works:
- Set a goal – Enter the objective of your final prompt. For example: “Audit my marketing plan.”
- Auto-Generate new prompts – Tell it how many prompts should be auto-generated. They recommend ten.
- Set up test scenarios – Generate some test scenarios or write them yourself. These scenarios are the criteria that will evaluate if the prompts succeed or fail in battle. For example: “In-depth visibility analysis for a social media agency.
- Begin! – Now specify how many rounds of battles should run.
When the simulation starts, the prompts will battle against each other, running test cases and mocking out scenarios, and a winner will arise.
A winning prompt emerged after my prompts battled it out for even a five-round test. It even tracks your spending with how much this costs on the API. In my case, it only cost me $2.24, and I had a fantastic, detailed, and well-set-up prompt for my test case.
I tested the final prompt in ChatGPT, and the results were outstanding.
π§ This might seem like a fun experiment, but it’s more than that as we unpack this. While it might seem technical, it’s quite the opposite. Developers continue to try new concepts to test the systems we’re using for the benefit of us all. Prompts Royale is a testament to the creativity and innovation possible in the AI industry. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the most effective options are the ones that think outside the box or in this case, battle head-to-head.
And who knows? The next big breakthrough in AI could come from a fun experiment like this.
