Microsoft and OpenAI are partnering on a data center initiative, codenamed “Stargate,” with an estimated cost of $100 billion. This mega project aims to house millions of AI chips dedicated to running OpenAI’s advanced models, marking a cost that is 100 times greater than the most expensive data centers currently in existence.
